DZ Truck Driver

Our Client, located in Vaughan is a leading manufacturer and installer of high-end custom kitchens,
cabinetry, and millwork. We are seeking a dependable and professional experienced DZ
Licensed Truck Driver to join their delivery team on a 3 month contract.
In this role, you will be responsible for transporting premium finished products across
the GTA, ensuring every delivery reflects the quality and craftsmanship our clients
expectations.
This is a hands-on role that combines safe driving, careful handling of high-value
materials, and professional interaction at both residential homes and commercial job
sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a 26 ft straight truck, cube van, etc. safely and efficiently
Deliver high-end kitchens, cabinetry, and furniture to client locations
Load and unload materials with care (heavy lifting may be required)
Secure and protect finished millwork during transport
Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
Represent the company professionally at all customer sites
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Support warehouse operations when not doing deliveries as required such as
packaging
Assist in properly packaging material
What We’re Looking For:
Valid Ontario DZ driver’s license with minimum 5 years safe driving experience
Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR record
Experience operating straight trucks Background in furniture, cabinetry, or construction delivery (asset)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product care
Physically capable of handling heavy materials
Willingness to perform hands-on loading and unloading and placing product in
their respective areas (may require carrying products up and down stairs and in
elevators)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
May require work outside daily hours and weekends
Experience:
Construction Delivery: 4 years (preferred)
Language:
English (required)
Licence /Certification:
DZ License (required)
Forklift Licence (required)
