We are looking for Automotive Apprentice/Licensed Technician (310s) in Mississauga, ON.

We perform general repairs, tune-ups, oil changes, maintenance, complete electronic diagnostics, safety inspections, repairs to steering and suspensions, brakes, cooling Systems, A/c systems, tire repairs and changes to a variety of domestic and import vehicles including light trucks.

Responsibilities:

Our Apprentice or Licensed Technician (310s) will work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment, maintain, inspect and repair a variety of domestic and import vehicles including light trucks including the following:

  • Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
  • Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
  • Explain automotive repairs and issues to management and provide great customer service.
  • Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals and experience.
  • Test the functionality of parts and systems
  • Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
  • Perform front end and brake repair
  • Install and balance tires.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles.
  • Prepare to get additional certification as needed.
  • Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
  • Help keep repair shop clean and organized including equipment.
  • Keep a professional appearance.
  • Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of automotive vehicles.

 

Qualification/ Requirements:

  • 4th or 5th year Automotive Apprentice or Licensed Technician (310s) with 3+ years’ experience in relevant field.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and valid driver’s licence (abstract must be produced at interview).
  • Must have their own toolbox with basic tools to be able to perform routine automotive work.

 

Hours:

Ability to work from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays.
